I just checked invinci monk issue in UW myself. And yes its true, Deep Wound stacks now. 55hp -> 44hp -> 33hp ... It's a bug, isnt it ?

-4, -4, -4, then you're at 1 hp. This isn't -11 hp from deep wound (or else it'd be -3, -3, or even -2, if both had used it at once). Something about the attack they've used is definitely not right. It seems as though the second 'very deep wound' is taking into account your base hp? I can't explain it any other way, but there's no logical reason you should be going from 44 hp to 1. None at all.

Also just noticed that your current hp drops down to 1 BEFORE your max drops to that level. What in the world even does that this is definitely a rare and bizarre phenomenon.

Edit: the only thing that can cause this effect otherwise is switching out a rune when your max hp is below the penalty of the rune. Your hp will go negative, and your bar will appear to be empty until you normally regen that 1hp back.

I just checked with 85hp instead of 55hp... and same thing happened 85->1hp.

i thought it was just me & my sometimes crappy internet connection which is experiencing lag issues ingame, but then after i checked my ping which is minimal with my isp i tot that the game itself is lagging... and since this lag happend about 2 days now, i would conclude that somehow the latest update the game had caused it..... i wonder whats wrong...

So the reason that screenshot is proof is because your max hp while under deep wound is 34 instead of 44? I suppose the math works out in an awkward way...

I foresee a new Tombs build: DeepWoundWAY. 8 mesmers that phantompain/shatter delusions you in rapid order, bringing your max hp down to 80%, then 64%, and so on until the last Shatter Delusions KILLS you! >:O

As a side note I'd like to confirm the ward/wells border, and the reduction of incendiary arrows back down to 8 from 10.

One LAST edit, a question. 3Mb worth of patching, and it's just a few bug fixes, a small graphic addition to wards and wells, a new clientside cookie that stores your skill list settings, more info in skill descriptions, aaaaaaaaand that's it? There has GOT to be more. I bet there's some latent halloween content in there that is waiting until the 30th to unveil itself.

Is it me or do a lot of people keep getting Neterr=7 since the new update?

Today I logged in.. and immediatly I got a Neterr=7 and yesterday I had a few as well.

(and what does a Neterr=7 mean anyway?)

Neterr=7 means that somewhere along the line the connection's broken. Whether your ethernet cord was unplugged, to your ISP being down, to the GW servers having a malfunction, something went wrong. A lot of people were getting serious lag the day of the update, but I haven't heard of anyone getting it recently.

Did the grasping darknesses have Skull Crack all of the time, or is it just something new?
I was dazed all of a sudden, and the deep wound stacked, so my health was down to 1 too...

I just tried some runs with 105hp, and they were going OK at first...Then that same crap happened again, even at 105hp. The first time my max hp got cut down to 9...Which makes even less sense. Then the 2nd time it happened (a different group, after healing and recharging, etc.) it got cut down to good ol' 1 again and I died.

Whatever's happening makes no sense, it takes your total hp and drops it to 1, then cuts your max hp to some random, low number (usually 1).

And on a side note: I, too, have noticed the blue auras around NPCs and those lame looking red "cones" around wards and wells.

Definitely a lot of silly things happening with this update.

And yes, the Grasping Darkness have always had and used Skull Crack.

I don't have the problems you mention. Did they fixed them? No blue auras no red cones, no error 5,4 or any other, no lag.

This morning just about everyone in the CA got net err=7. It was the first time ive ever got that error before and when i got back it seemed everyone was complaining about it at the same time.

There is also a problem with illusion of weakness. The healing portion of the spell only appears to trigger if the enchantment is removed instead of the conditional hp percentage. There is definatly something out of whack with the "taken off the bottom of the total" calculations going on at the moment.

I've done a bit more research, and it seems that for some reason, even after the deep wound is removed, when hit even once with it, the old stacked wound returns. This means that you may either go from 55 to 44 with one deep wound, or from 55 to 34. This unpredictability can't be good for controlling scenarios (which is a staple of PvE environments) and should be addressed, in my opinion, by an official in this thread.

Yeah, a few hours ago everyone got booted from War Camp too. Sometimes the servers have hiccups. I get neterr=7's all the time because I'm on a sucky campus network.

Yeah, i have no doubt it can occur. I was just stating that it was the first time its happened to me, but also happened to many others as well. It is not something that i would call stable, like having various places unavailable to travel to or characters being unavailable while stuck in certain places. Which has also happened to me before, but that was a couple months back and hasnt happened since.
